Powering American AI with secure energy.
Artificial intelligence is the first thing modern America has built that needs far more electricity than the country now makes. The data centers, the chips, and the power to run them have become a question of national standing. America's AI Action Plan, issued in July 2025, names the constraint plainly: the country must build new chips, new data centers, and “new sources of energy to power it all.”
That power has to be firm, domestic, and close to the load. It has to be built where the land, the fuel, and the wire already are, by people the counties know. It is the work we were already doing. We assemble the ground and develop the generation ahead of the need, so that when a serious load comes looking for power on the plains, the lead time is behind it.
